This is such a funny ink. It's a pigment brown that has the lovely warm tone of kraft paper, and it does smell sweet (even if not exactly like coffee)!! It also has some crazy shading on coated papers. However, instead of a shimmer, it contains a matte white additive that adds a little bit of milk-swirl marbling in the bottle but is invisible on the paper. Just like shimmer, this means it tends to settle in a pen and must be carefully cleaned.
To get around this, the manufacturer seems to have made the actual ink incredibly wet to improve flow, which means it's prone to feathering and line spread. That said, it's still nice to write with if you don't mind your inks having a little more personality than average; I recommend pairing with a relatively fine nib and a sturdy coated paper like Cosmo Air Snow or Iroful!
