Lennon Tool Bar Ying Piao (螢縹) is a teal blue fountain pen ink with green and gold shimmer, from The Poetry of Light Series. Inspired by fireflies dancing through a Taiwanese dyeing workshop at night. Fountain pen safe — best with regular use.
Shake before use. Store your pen horizontally to prevent shimmer clogs. Please note: shimmer inks can clog fountain pens if left sitting for extended periods or used in very fine nibs — use with caution and clean your pen regularly.

I already knew that this ink was going to be beautiful, but what I didn’t expect was such lovely customer service from Zayna. I found Noetic Paper on Tik Tok and on the site, I saw that she had 2 items (Lennon Tool Bar Ying Piao and Keyon No. 14 Cherishment fountain pen) in stock. I immediately placed in cart and upon checkout, there was a a dreaded shipping obstacle. Honestly, I run into no shipping or expensive shipping all the time. It just is what it is, living outside of the lower 48, but I will often ask a retailer if they can offer other shipping options. Most of the time, if retailers aren’t already setup to ship to Alaska or Hawaii, they just don’t offer it because it is expensive. I will ask but I’m ok with a “not at this time.” Well Zayna was quick to respond to me and she went into her system, made some changes, and so kindly shipped these items out to me next day. I was surprised and honestly just so thankful. These are two products I had been searching for and if you know, they are consistently out of stock. Like Ying Piao, but greener!
So, predictably, this is basically just as well behaved and beautiful as Ying Piao- it has the same yellow shimmer, except the base of this is a bright grass green whereas YP is a slightly greenish teal blue with medium shading. Also Cong Cong appears to have less shading.

First, Noetic Paper was great to order from. Having said that, Ying Piao is an amazing ink. I don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with an ink. The shading, the saturation, even working with a medium nib it flows very well. I will definitely buy more inks by Lennon Tool Bar.
