Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-peki (紺碧, "Deep Cerulean Blue") is the best-known and best-selling color in the entire Iroshizuku lineup — a bright, vivid turquoise-blue that balances blue and teal in equal measure. Shading is excellent, with natural transitions from light aqua to a deep ocean blue, and the ink holds up well in both fine and broad nibs. Flow is smooth and well-lubricated with a moderate dry time and light water resistance. A versatile everyday color that works equally well for notes, letters, and creative writing. Fountain pen safe across all nib sizes.
The Iroshizuku name comes from iro ("color") and shizuku ("droplet"), and each ink is named for a Japanese natural landscape or plant.
